SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT 2 (1987) -TIS THE SEASON

      The purpose of this blog is to inform people the hidden gems in the realm of world cinema, while irreverently shitting on the new films that are currently plaguing theaters.  If films are out of print and being sold at a asinine price I'll post links to films that fall under this dilemma.

     To kick off the CINEMATIC CUM Blog, I'm going to recommend watching my favorite Christmas horror flick for the holiday season,1987's,  Silent Night, Deadly Night 2.


     Silent Night Deadly Night 2 stars, Eric Freeman, as Ricky, who just like his brother in the first Silent Night Deadly Night, goes on a killing spree that stemmed from the psychologically damaging experience of witnessing his parents being murdered by a man in a santa suit at the ripe of age of, let's say six months (impeccable memory I must say).  Ricky's main directive is to kill Mother Superior, the nun who wronged him at the orphanage where he was raised for most of his childhood. She's a real bitch, if you ask me, she had it
coming.

 
    Ricky's (Freeman) hyperextended eyebrow raising and countless "Naughty" emanations could make even sterile women conceive cellulite. Birth defect I don't think so, just wholesome buttery fat straight from the milkman's tit, which is really a vagina of the mind.

    You don't even have to see the first Silent Night, Deadly Night, about 48 minutes of the footage from the first film is in SNDN2.  The filmmakers only used about 40 minutes of new footage cut with footage of the from the first flick for flashback material, The newer footage featuring a psychologist, Dr. Bloom (James Newman) picking Ricky's brain.
 
     On a whole, I thought the editing was seamless, the movie was fun, and the cinematography is better than Schindler's List.  Siskel and Ebert didn't like the first Silent Night Deadly Night, but you know what? Siskel is dead and Ebert doesn't have a chin.  Silent Night Deadly Night 2 Wins!!!!!!!  Anyone who badmouths this gem can press their lips against my asshole and suck the shit out of it til the cows come home, and in my world cows don't even exist, so have a ball baby.  They don't make movies like this anymore, the masses are too enamored by bland insipid garbage and the Hollywood machine keeps feeding it to them. Yeah I'm talking to you FAIRBANK.  Spielberg, nobody needs to see a new movie about a horse. The horse genre hit its apex in 1988 when Michael Dinner made  Hot to Trot.
